Elementary/Middle School Teachers - 2010/2011 School Year

Are you a teacher?  Do you feel called to serve in the Arabian Peninsula?  A small Christian school serving the educational needs (grades 1-8) of children in the Ex-Pat community is looking for teachers who are committed Christians, proficient in English, creative, enthusiastic and flexible, preferably qualified multi-subject teachers with strong science ability. The school is vital to God’s work in this location.  Not only is this an investment in the children, but teachers contribute to the Lord's work by enabling workers with school-age kids to live and serve in their respective ministries full-time.  The school needs full- and part-time teachers for the school year 2010/2011.  The school offers a stipend to cover furnished housing and living expenses, plus assistance with settling in.

Administrator

ReachAcross has an opening for an administrator to take over the primary administrative duties of a well-established English Language School located on the Arabian Peninsula.  Hundreds of adult students use this facility each year and the successful applicant would have daily contact with these local students.  This is a busy school with around eight 'western' teaching staff as well as those involved in managing the school.

TEFL Teachers

ReachAcross has openings for two TEFL teachers for short term placement for the end of July until the beginning of September.  Ideal for university students to engage in short term work during college holidays.

ReachAcross has opportunities for four TEFL teachers for short term or long term placement from October 2010 onwards.  Short term placement would be a minimum of 12 weeks.

ReachAcross has a current opportunity for I.T. teachers to work in a small computing school in an intriguing and beautiful location in the Red Sea/Middle East area. Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family.


Primary School Teachers for Middle East / Red Sea location

ReachAcross has ongoing opportunities for teachers for two small schools for workers' children.  A stipend sufficient to cover housing, cost of living, and airfare from/to home country may be available. Any applicants should have flexibility, a desire to serve, teaching qualifications and preferably some experience. Salary: Stipend plus support from Church/Friends/Family.

 

Director of TEFL school for Red Sea location

ReachAcross has an opening for a single or a couple to take over the running of an English Language school (for adults) in the southern Red Sea area region.  It would be best if this could be seen as a long-term calling (over two years).  The opportunities are immense, with hundreds of students 16 years old and upwards wanting to learn English.  Applicants should have a TEFL qualification or be prepared to obtain one.  Applicants should also have good organisational/management skills, preferably with teaching experience.  Basic spoken French is necessary.  Salary: Support from Church/Friends/Family.
